What is the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP)?

The Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) provides health insurance coverage funded by the Canadian government to refugees, protected persons, and other eligible individuals. Managed by Medavie Blue Cross, IFHP covers essential services, including psychotherapy, helping newcomers maintain their physical and mental well-being during their transition to Canadian life.
