Psychoeducational Assessment for Children in Toronto
What is a Psychoeducational Assessment?

It’s a comprehensive evaluation of how your child thinks, learns, and processes information.
We look beyond grades and behaviour to uncover the skills that impact learning and daily life.
Our Psychoeducational Assessments can clarify struggles with reading, writing, math, focus, organization, cognitive functioning or anxiety and identify (or rule out) learning disabilities, ADHD, language challenges, or mood-related difficulties.

Our Reports include clear recommendations that schools may consider when planning accommodations like time, quiet settings, Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and accessibility services

The goal is to understand your child’s learning profile and use that insight to create opportunities for success.
We provide psychoeducational assessments for children, teens, college students, and adults. Families choose us for our warm, culturally sensitive approach, bilingual support (English & Spanish), and our innovative ADHD Program, which combines practical strategies with LENS neurofeedback a drug-free method to help the brain function at its best.

A detailed intake with parents/caregivers (and the child or teen when appropriate), plus online questionnaires for parents, teachers, or the individual.
Testing Sessions
(3 sessions, 3 hours each)
One-on-one standardized testing with the clinician. Parents can wait in our comfortable space bring snacks and water for breaks.
Feedback Session

We review results, explain diagnoses, and share practical recommendations. You'll receive a clear, comprehensive report and hope. We also provide ongoing support to help you implement next steps.
What else should I prepare for the assessment?
For child or teen assessments, teens and parents complete brief questionnaires, and teachers are asked to fill out a short online form. For adult assessments, questionnaires are sent to someone who knows the individual well and can provide accurate information.

To give us the clearest picture, please share school report cards, previous assessment reports, and any relevant medical information. These can be emailed or brought to the clinic; we’ll scan and return originals
