M.A. Registered Psychotherapist

  • Specialties:  Mood and anxiety disorders, grief, low self-esteem, life transitions, parenting challenges, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD.

  • Therapeutic approaches and modalities: Rachel uses a strength-based, integrative approach that draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, person-centred work, and mindfulness-based techniques. She also incorporates play therapy, inner child work, and emotion-focused strategies, particularly when supporting children and youth.

  • Accepting New Clients: Offers both online and in-person sessions.

  • Availability: Weekdays during the day and afternoon, with some evening availability.

  • Rachel works: Children (5+), adolescents, adults, and parents.

  • Language: English and Spanish.

Rachel is a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She holds a Master of Arts in Child and Youth Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology.

Rachel works with children, teens, adults, and parents navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, life transitions, parenting challenges, and ADHD. With a strong foundation in developmental and relational work, she is especially skilled in supporting families and individuals across the lifespan.

Known for her warm and collaborative presence, Rachel takes a strength-based, client-centered approach to therapy. She draws from a range of therapeutic modalities, including CBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness practices, play-based interventions, and inner child work, to tailor sessions to each client’s needs, goals, and lived experiences. She believes that therapy should be flexible, creative, and grounded in what works best for the individual in front of her.

Rachel is passionate about helping clients feel safe, seen, and supported as they make meaningful changes in their lives. She works with deep care and curiosity, creating space for emotional exploration, healing, and growth.

More About Rachel

Outside the therapy room, Rachel enjoys cooking new dishes, getting lost in a good book or TV series, and spending time with her daughter and loved ones. She finds joy in nature, long walks, discovering new hobbies, and learning something new every day. Her approach to life, and therapy, is grounded, curious, and always evolving.
