What is an ADHD Assessment?
An ADHD assessment is a structured, comprehensive evaluation of how attention, executive functioning, and emotional regulation impact daily life.
It looks beyond checklists to clarify:
-
Attention and focus
-
Impulsivity and hyperactivity (including the quieter, inattentive presentation)
-
Organization, planning, and follow-through
-
Emotional regulation and co-occurring concerns (e.g., anxiety, mood)

Our 3-Step Process for ADHD Assessment Process
We know assessments can feel overwhelming. We approach every step with warmth and clarity:
Clinical Interview (1.5 hours)
A detailed intake (with parents/caregivers and the young person when appropriate; adults meet directly), plus online questionnaires for parents, teachers, or partners.
3 Testing Sessions (3 Hours Each)
Standardized cognitive and, when needed, academic testing across several sessions to understand attention, working memory, processing speed, and executive functioning.
Feedback Session (1.5 hours)
Plain-language results, whether ADHD is present (and how it shows up), strengths and challenges, and specific recommendations for school, work, and home.
You’ll receive a clear, comprehensive report and guidance on next steps.
What else should I prepare?
For child or teen assessments, parents complete brief questionnaires, and teachers are asked to fill out a short online form. For adult assessments, questionnaires are sent to someone who knows the individual well and can provide accurate information.
To give us the clearest picture, please share school report cards, previous assessment reports, and any relevant medical information. These can be emailed or brought to the clinic, we’ll scan and return originals.
