Our emotions offer valuable insight into our needs and hopes, yet they can feel overwhelming or confusing when life becomes heavy. If anxiety, burnout, or self-doubt are making it difficult to feel grounded, you’re not alone.

Hi, I’m Lareesa. My approach is attuned, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I am Aim to co-create a space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to explore the patterns, emotions, and experiences shaping your well-being.
I bring over a decade of experience supporting children, youth, and young adults, including my work in ABA and in the child and youth care field with clients who are neurodivergent (Autism, ADHD, and LDs). Through this work, I supported clients with executive functioning, emotional regulation, social skills, self-esteem, communication, behavioural flexibility, and confidence.
These experiences deeply shaped my appreciation for meeting people where they’re at and honouring neurodiversity.
In our therapeutic work together, we build meaningful goals, explore thoughts and behaviour patterns that may contribute to stress or emotional overload, nurture self-awareness and self-compassion, strengthen insight, and practice skills that cultivate emotional balance, nervous system regulation, and radical self-acceptance.
I integrate DBT, CBT, and Solution-Focused approaches, informed by my background in Behavioural Science, crisis intervention, Child and Youth Care, and ongoing studies in Counselling Psychology.

More about Lareesa
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a huge lover of board games, Caribbean carnivals, and relaxing on a beach. Being surrounded by family, community, and good food truly grounds me and brings me joy. Soca and R&B music feed my spirit and help me reconnect to myself, while anime and sci-fi movies speak directly to my inner child and sense of wonder. I’m also a lifelong learner, someone who genuinely enjoys growing, exploring, and finding new ways to deepen my understanding of myself and others.
